When we back up, we learn that Kate and Drew truly do have a rhythm. Kate’s found herself back at home with her mom because of something significant that’s happened, and where she goes from there is anyone’s guess. So, like the first book, we start at a moment in time – present day, but are forced back a series of weeks in order to truly understand what’s going on in the story. We’ve jumped 2 years into the future and things are getting interesting. This story line is full of misunderstandings, misinformation and a clear bit of confusion on where things stand all around. It’s from Kate’s POV whereas the first was from Drew’s so we get to see a much more emotional side to things.
